OUR DNA
In 2020, my world was forever changed when I suddenly lost my first born son, Amari—my oldest daughter Anyla’s twin brother. The grief of losing him so unexpectedly was devastating, instantly changing our lives forever. Later that year we met our Co-Founder, who we'd later find out also had experienced tragic loss that year.
The following year, in 2021, a new light entered our lives—our youngest daughter, Odis Ella. She arrived as a symbol of resilience, curiosity, and hope, reminding me, and her father that even in the deepest pain, there is still beauty when we nurture love and community inspiring us together to Co-found The Odis Ella Foundation in 2023.
Most recently, our latest addition, and youngest son, affectionately named Babe, joined our family. His joyful presence has completed our little circle and further strengthened my determination to build something lasting—for all of my children, and for our community.
Amari, Anyla, Odis Ella, and Babe each have inspired us in different ways to create, continue, and to grow The Odis Ella Foundation. This is my promise to them—to do my part in building a stronger, more supportive world, and to leave behind a meaningful legacy for them to carry forward.
EDUCATION
Mission: To empower youth and young adults with the knowledge, guidance, and character-building experiences they need to thrive in life.
Vision: We envision a generation of leaders who are confident, compassionate, and equipped with the tools to navigate their futures. Through mentorship, etiquette training, and holistic education, we prepare young people to make choices that lead to purpose, dignity, and success.
HEALTH
Mission: To make wellness more accessible by honoring both modern practices and traditional, holistic approaches to care.
Vision: We see a world where families can access healthcare options that are affordable, culturally respectful, and rooted in compassion. Our goal is to bridge gaps in the current system and create pathways for whole-person healing that serve communities for generations.
LEGACY
Mission: To cultivate financial empowerment and collective wealth-building within communities.
Vision: We are committed to creating systems that help families manage, grow, and preserve their resources. By fostering economic literacy, responsible stewardship, and community-based financial networks, we envision legacies that last—ensuring stability, prosperity, and freedom for generations to come.
ENERGY
Mission: To advance sustainable energy solutions that are environmentally responsible and community-driven.
Vision: We believe in returning power—literally and figuratively—into the hands of the people. By exploring bioenergy innovations and recycling systems, we envision a cleaner, more resilient future where communities reduce waste, generate renewable energy, and build healthier environments.

We know firsthand the challenges underserved and middle-class families face: the weight of uncertainty, the sting of loss, the gaps in care and opportunity. But we also know that change begins with us—with our choices, our actions, and our determination to create something better.
That’s why we founded The Odis Ella Foundation: to unite communities, leverage the resources already around us, and uplift those who need it most. We believe that by building stronger, more connected communities, we can spark a ripple effect of resilience and love that will last for generations.
Join us in this mission. Together, we can build the kind of future our children deserve—a future rooted in love, strength, and legacy
